I worked with several professors throughout Washington University to promote collaboration for a large scale project on the use algae to sequester CO2 emissions from flue gas. Equipment for this purpose was purchased from a leading scientific instrumentation company in Europe. I worked closely with management and engineers in the company to ensure all logistical issues with equipment transport and set up were accounted for.

I worked at the BioEnergy Science Center with fuel cells. My research involved testing and building hybrid fuel cells with a enzymatic cathode and a platinum anode fueled by hydrogen gas.

I designed and built an experimental setup to study the orientation of rigid bodies impregnated in thin elastic films under stress. The results of this research were presented at the 2009 March American Physical Society Meeting.
