I was responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team of Talent Acquisition Managers and Consultants/BP's to deliver world class Talent solutions. I am passionate about leading a customer-oriented team who pride themselves on service excellence, utilising metrics & insights and proactive recruitment methodologies to deliver outcomes that align with the business strategy. I led and oversaw the Network Operations (COO), Project Delivery and Early Careers Talent Acquisition (TA) teams nationally for the Australia Post Groups, responsible for the recruitment of approx. 8000-9000 hires per year including our Christmas Casual recruitment drive which saw us recruit up to 5000 casuals across a 12-week period. As part of the TA senior leadership team, I was responsible for leadership of a permanent team of up to 28, including 3 Talent Acquisition Managers and up to an additional 30+ casual/FTC seasonal campaign consultants as well as supporting the strategic management and continuous improvement of our recruitment delivery models and partnering with business stakeholders to drive the businesses talent acquisition agenda. This role saw me working in partnership with the AusPost senior leadership and operational managers to deliver a ‘future of work’ people plan that supports the needs of the business both now and for the future as well as supporting the development and roll-out of our new EVP and consolidation and implementation of our new TA tech stack (ATS, CRM, Assessment tools and supporting technology).
