I currentlyl fill several roles at TPA. I provide consultation on business of practice issues and ethical dilemmas to the members of the association. In addition I am currently the editor ot the Texas Psychologist.

I have been in private practice in psychology since 1984. A group of us, mostly affiliated with the clinical training program at Texas A&M, formed a group practice in 1995. AAP is a multispecialty mental health practice that includes 10 mental health professionals. We provide assessment and therapy services in English or Spanish to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. In addition, some evaluations are conducted for educational placement, employment and forensic issues. In 2018, AAP was purchased by our colleague, Dr. Eden Schmeichel. I continue to see patients there for individual therapy.aappsychology.com
I taught undergraduate and graduate courses in professional ethics, clinical psychology, assessment, and psychotherapy. A substantial amount of my time was devoted to clinical supervision for doctoral trainees in assessment and psychotherapy.
