After 15 years of progressive leadership in sustainability strategy and decarbonization for some of the largest corporations and utilities in the US, I’ve pivoted my career toward small-scale real estate development to increase the availability of attainably priced housing that improves livability and connects residents to amenities, jobs, and services in Lane County.I’ve dedicated my career to increasing economic, environmental, and social resilience in large, mission-driven organizations. For over 12 years, I successfully led projects, programs, and personnel through persistent disruption (organizational change, mergers and acquisitions, unprecedented climate events, civil unrest, a global pandemic, and essential innovation). I easily translate between engineering, marketing, sales, and finance, and engage stakeholders at every level of an organization, from senior executives to site-level staff. I have experience building and leading teams, and a proven track record of building strong client and stakeholder relationships with a focus on customer service and collaboration. In my most recent corporate leadership role, as the Sr. Director of Utility Solutions at 3Degrees, I was responsible for $13M in revenue, 4 departments, 75 employees, and worked with some of the largest gas and electric utilities in the country. As a senior leader, I built strong conflict resolution and facilitation skills and engaged stakeholders at every level of an organization. I drafted and negotiated multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts and supported the growth and development of personnel, departments, and new products and services. Before joining 3Degrees, I worked in a consulting leadership role at ENGIE, the largest energy company in the world, where I led teams of enterprise sustainability consultants to guide corporate partners (multi-site commercial and light industrial Fortune 500s) through a complex maze of business-critical sustainability issues. We measured and managed consumption and cost; designed and implemented short, medium, and long-term energy, water, and carbon management strategies and programs; and publicly disclosed (CDP, GRESB, GRI) environmental impacts related to climate change, water security, forests, and supply chain. I am a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). I hold an MBA in sustainable business practices from the University of Oregon and graduated Cum Laude with an Honors Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Oregon State University.
