Responsible for implementing, patching and maintaining all Red Hat workstations as well as supporting all Linux users in the Bureau of Environmental Safety and Enforcement. Implement server upgrades and collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and manage OS and hardware problems.

Contracted at the GE Global Research Center, focused on support of the ever growing and changing High Performance Computing (HPC) environment. Monitored infrastructure to ensure availability to users throughout the environment. Provided updates and patches when necessary to all servers in both Windows and Linux environment. Supported user storage with constant monitoring of aggregates and volumes to avoid maxing out quotas. Provided technical expertise and support for 150+ users in the HPC environment. Kept clear and concise internal documentation as well as keeping active documents up to date.

Contracted with General Electric, directed cross-functional teams through all project lifecycle phases, resulting in servers being updated or replaced. Managed a wide range of computer server projects that incorporated many technologies such as clustering and NAS/SAN storage. Worked directly with sub-businesses, vendors, network teams and data center employees to make sure project was completed on time and within budget.

Performed troubleshooting and highly-technical problem solving in computer security technologies including Trusted Platform Modules, Biometric Authentication and Full-Disk Data Encryption at both software and hardware levels. Was given responsibilities beyond Technical Support including administration over several Windows servers and applications, including MS Exchange, MS CRM and BOMGAR.
