Supply Caravan is a B2B SAAS order management system (OMS) and marketplace connecting suppliers, buyers, and carriers in the wholesale food supply chain.Developed the initial business plan including product design, go-to market strategy, and competitive analysis. Recruited highly pedigreed technical talent including the former CTO of Wikipedia and several senior engineers. Bootstrapped the seed capital and led product development of an MVP. Product features include product catalog management, discovery, ordering, messaging, and integrated payment. Negotiated with and contracted with vendors including our payment solution provider. Engaged with dozens of target customers through inbound and outbound sales and marketing; onboarded multiple customers and incorporated feedback to work towards product-market fit, addressing tradeoffs between customers, capabilities, and costs.

Acquired, developed, sold and currently manage a $20 million real estate portfolio with assets of various classes in partnership with investors. Assessed dozens of deals in multifamily, commercial, storage, hospitality, and land development. Restructured the commercial model with a collection of owned properties, tripling revenue in less than 12 months, creating a 50% uplift in market value. Identified an opportunity to pursue an undervalued multi-million-dollar commercial acquisition and fulfill a State RFP. Led the RFP submission process and acquisition; sold the asset within six months for 160% of purchase price, delivering over 100% return on equity. Created the vision and business case for a residential development. Raised millions of dollars of limited partner investor capital to complete the project, developing a portfolio combining spec housing with existing, stabilized assets to offset market risk. Selected and managed a team of specialists to design the product offering and gain approvals with three municipal boards. Managed the construction and budget - working with 20+ contractors - through the pandemic-driven disruption of supply chains, material costs and labor shortages. Developed the branding, marketing budget, and go-to market strategy for the product launch. Delivered the semi-custom product to buyers and generated over $10 million in revenue ($12m projected).

Completed a two-year training program in strategic planning, cultural adaptation, resourcefulness, high stakes negotiation, and inter-agency consultation to become a Green Beret - the Army’s soldier-diplomats. Graduated in top 10% of class in which only 20% complete the program.Executed military and sensitive operations in eight countries around the Pacific involving unconventional warfare and special reconnaissance. Advised senior U.S. officials including Deputy Chiefs of Mission, Military Attaches, and Regional Security Officers as well as senior foreign military officials. Hand-selected to work for a three-star general to coordinate global crisis response efforts. Synchronized response efforts across six geographically dispersed two-star general level headquarters. Selected to lead an end-to-end upgrade (design, develop, implement) to the mission-critical reconnaissance, surveillance, and intelligence-gathering detachment for the Indo-Pacific Command Crisis Response Force. Served as the senior U.S. Government official in an Afghanistan region. Led a combined U.S. and Afghan force to reintroduce Afghan governance to the region and close the U.S. outpost. Managed relations with skeptical and hostile local Afghan leaders. System and playbook were implemented at all other U.S. outposts across Uruzgan Province.Advised the Afghan provincial staff and chief of police on the creation of a regional training center, establishing a system that would produce hundreds of police annually. Led the strategic partnership with a U.S.-based non-profit organization (Spirit of America).As a National Guard officer, assigned to take over a struggling COVID-19 response for the Rhode Island State Operations Center; designed and led inter-agency operations involving hundreds of soldiers and civilians. Rated #1 and in the top 5 of roughly 40 peers in 3 annual evaluations of Commander-level leaders including those with up to 3 years more time.

Completed the Army’s engineer officer course focused on developing leaders in general tactics, operations and logistics as well as engineering skills such as civil and structural surveying and construction. Graduated #1 in class of 40 in both academics and leadership based on peer reviews, instructor reviews, and a board. Led a 15-month combat deployment to Iraq, planning and executing over 250 operations. Leveraged enabling commercial technologies to gather and synthesize intelligence to track enemy activities. Advised the commander of a 500-soldier task force on engineer operations and employment. Ultimately promoted to Executive Officer for the only rapidly deployable 150+ soldier engineer organization deployed in Europe prepared to support the Global War on Terror. Directed the logistics and operations of the organization with over $50 million of equipment, including over 25 vehicles. Selected to attend a NATO conference and training event in Ukraine; interacted with leaders from over 20 NATO allies; trained and advised these leaders on recent combat experience. Accountable for the asset optimization and selective disposition of $50 million of equipment during the post-Iraq deployment. Coordinated with dozens of contractors and military teams to refit equipment. Rated #1 among peers on all annual evaluations.
