I am a Scientist in the Neurosciences & Mental Health Program and Dept of Diagnostic Imaging at the Hospital for Sick Children, Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham, cross-appointed at the University of Toronto, and CSO at MYndspan. I'm a cognitive neuroscientist by trade, with graduate training in psychology and neuroscience.In our lab, we develop and apply neurotechnologies and behavioural approaches to understand PTSI & OSIs, mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI, or concussion), and cumulative subclinical neurotrauma. We primarily use neurophysiological methods like cryogenic magnetoencephalography (MEG)/optically pumped magnetometry (OPM-MEG) to image neural circuits.We are also now investigating digitised EMDR, neuromodulation and brain stimulation for individualised interventional use in those with psychological stress and traumatic brain injuries.
