The Town of Boones Mill, "A Virginia's Blue Ridge Community," located in Franklin County, Virginia, was originally developed around the site of a mill established by the Boone family in 1786. The Town was incorporated in 1927, encompassing approximately 525 acres. The original Town boundary has not changed. With a population of approximately 250 people, the Town is one of the smallest localities in the State of Virginia and one of only two municipalities in Franklin County.​ It is home to several locally-owned businesses and food establishments.I serve as Town Manager, responsible for implementing the vision and directives of the Town Council and serving the residents of the Town. Supporting Town staff, coordinating with community groups and agency partners are other important activities of which I am a part of. A key point I stress is TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More!Other duties include property sales, property management, utility infrastructure, grant implementation, drafting, revising, and enforcing town code, wayfinding, FEMA disaster recovery, website development and maintenance, human resources, public safety, working with legal counsel, regional tourism efforts, and contract negotiation/administration.

Created and implemented new trip scheduling process reducing prep time and eliminating paperwork.

Duties included marketing and business development, maintaining existing client relationships, developing new client relationships, and "connecting people." Other duties include project planning and development, strategic planning, and grant writing.Anderson & Associates, Inc. was purchased in December 2016.

Managed daily operations at Harrisburg International Airport in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Worked closely with the FAA and airport tenants to coordinate snow removal and airside construction activities. In the absence of the Airport Manager, took on duties of the position and made time sensitive decisions as needed. Assisted on coordination of Emergency Operations Plan as well as maintaining good working relationships with airport tenants and staff.

Drove 30, 35, and 40 foot transit buses on regularly scheduled routes. Trained new drivers on driving techniques and safety with passengers on board.

Assisted Airport Operations Officers in managing daily operations at Washington Dulles International Airport in Northern Virginia.
