I am an international logistics expert who loves finding and executing intelligent and creative ways to help customers move products of all shapes and sizes safely throughout the world. I've had the great opportunity to work at all different levels, from detailed, ground floor level inventory counting and warehousing to high level strategic planning on shipments. Logistics is an amazing profession that mirrors a lot of my core values as a professional, including: - Continuous improvement - I truly believe that no matter how well a shipment may have gone, there's always going to be ways to improve a customer's experience, improve communication, decrease lead time or improve costs. - Communication and Teamwork - Even basic moves can take hundreds of people of all backgrounds and skills, from planners and schedulers to warehouse forklift drivers, port stevedores and crane operators. I love that I get the opportunity to work with personnel of all backgrounds and skills and make things happen that I couldn't make happen on my own. - Flexibility - As anyone in the profession knows, shipments don't always move as originally intended, so it's critical to find alternate ways to meet a customer's needs on a shipment.
