In this role Bas has full P&L responsibility for 5 Business Units, which focus on Emissions control, Instrumentation, Thermal Management and Variable Valve Control. Total revenue approaches $260MM, with very solid growth.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

From 2010 till 2014 the CTO at Honeywell ECC (Environmental and Combustion Control). As the global VP and CTO, Bas lead a development team of 1400 engineers in close to 40 engineering centers across 20 countries. This team was responsible for both the creation of new products (NPI), as well as maintaining legacy products of seven Lines of Business (LOBs): Residential and Commercial HVAC Controls, Electrical Products, Fluid Control and Combustion Control Products, Field devices and Lighting controls (, including the application of LEDs). The revenue stream impacted was close to $3B.

Geneva Area, Switzerland

VP of Engineering for ECC EMEA, with an international team of 300+ engineers, in 12 regional and global engineering centers. Design leadership responsibility for four Lines of Business: Buildings- and Residential controls, Water - and Combustion controls. Supported annual revenue close to $1.2B.

20 Years at Delphi Corporation in a number of (international) assignments. Finishing my career in Delphi as global Product Line Manager with P&L responsibility for the Air Fuel business, with a total revenue of $1+B. I started as an Engine Dyno and calibration engineer in the Tech Center in Luxembourg, and moved on to positions in Marketing and Sales after obtaining my MBA.
