I am an executive recruiter and adviser in private equity with diverse and practical business experience. I started my career in marketing research for consumer packaged goods before transitioning to corporate governance, fundraising, and strategic planning for science and medicine. My strategic planning, fundraising, and recruitment experience has all been accomplished in settings with the highest level of complexity, confidentiality, and relationship management of external and internal clients.I have experience working tactically and strategically, executing on both immediate needs and succession planning for future generations of talent. My experience in mapping industries, sectors, and functions in HCLS, growth equity, private equity (healthcare and technology) as well as financial services has helped in advising clients on hiring best-in-class talent to guide their businesses through the changing landscape of business and regulatory environments. I have successfully placed candidates from markets around the world in various functions. I have experience recruiting candidates from health insurance and managed care, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, technology, fintech, financial services, software, hedge funds, asset management, consumer markets, and law firms, as well as other areas.Since 2008 I have also had a focus on and interest in executive compensation at the executive and board level for public, private, and PE/VC-backed companies. This includes cash and equity remuneration, short-term incentives, and other LTI schemes across a broad range of performance-oriented incentive programs. Further experience with defined benefit plans and others.In addition, I serve as a Trustee of the Martin and Mary L. Boyer Foundation and a member of the distribution committee. The foundation is a grant-making foundation that supports health-related causes, Jewish organizations/causes, community organizations for the disadvantaged, and Chicago cultural organizations. I am also involved in various initiatives for School District 65 in Evanston, Illinois. In my free time, I enjoy road cycling, reading/audiobooks, and podcasts, and coming up with dad jokes that I tell my two young boys.
