Task and achievements :- The full financial management of 7 companies in 5 countries and reporting directly to the CEO Northern Europe and in close matrix relation with the mother company in Strasbourg. 3 companies in Belgium (Soprema NV, Sibli SA and IBIC bvba), Soprema UK, Soprema Ireland, Troelstra & de Vries in the Netherlands and Soprema ab in Sweden.- Setup and process of financial reports (balance sheet, profit & loss statements, consolidation, commercial, analytical and production reports as well as the coordination of the budget process)- The guidance, coaching and coordination of the accountants (13 people) in different countries (both internal and external contacts), streamline financial information within the region and report to the head office in Strasbourg.- Coaching and guiding the ERP/business process manager in the region- Coordination of HR activities for further improvement.- Experience with mergers and acquisitions

- Creation of monthly reporting and consolidation within 3 working days- The introduction of budget and variance analyses- Installing a business intelligence tool, Tm1 of Applix (currently IBM)- Set up of a detailled cost price analysis of +/- 3000 products, 1000 different colors, 13 production lines and 600 customers- Implementing new accounting software and key user for the new ERP system (Movex of Intentia, currently Infor)- Annual accounts including consolidation- The handling of specific elements within automotive like EDI (Edifact), and Self billing

This is where it all started, my roots, my first experience. Where my personal skills were triggered, that is :The seek for new challenges, strategies and the persistence with the final goal in mind.
