AMCL, or Asset Management Consulting Limited, is a management consultancy firm for the built environment. We work with asset-intensive organizations such as infrastructure owners, heavy industry, manufacturers, facilities owners/operators, etc. to get the best value from their asset base. We offer a variety of services, such as capital investment planning, which includes utilizing our multi-criteria evaluation software, maintenance modernization, digital strategy, and more - all with the aim to reduce costs, improve asset performance, and achieve better outcomes. I lead our North Asia office with coverage of Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

Management consultant and project manager working with state and local transit agencies. Project work consisted of asset management, fares policy, and fare payments. Asset management work included drafting transit asset management plans, conducting baseline and gap assessments, developing asset inventories, and life-cycle planning, including analysis using the FTA TERM Lite model. Certified in asset management by the Institute of Asset Management (IAM).Fares policy work included developing demand elasticities using regression analysis, using models to estimate effects of fare changes on ridership and revenue, and qualitative considerations of fare changes. Fare payments work consists of developing the business rules to be integrated into a new fare payment system, estimating the impact of a new fare payment system on bus dwell time, and developing alternative options for cash-paying or unbanked customers. I was a legacy CH2M employee who stayed through Jacobs' acquisition.

FCIA Mgmt. Co. is a trade credit insurer, helping organizations mitigate risk by insuring sales made on credit. FCIA covers sales to both domestic and foreign buyers, through a variety of policy types. My responsibilities included underwriting policy risk, by assessing the viability of buyers, through analysis of their financial position, political/economic risk of their location/country, and various other factors. I set policy structure, including parameters and underwriting and made any necessary adjustments to policy contract language to tailor to client needs.

Assisted various transit agencies throughout the US in asset management, capital planning and economic forecasting. Clients included: Maryland Transit Administration, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, Southern California Regional Railroad Assoc. Metrolink, Illinois Department of Transportation/WIU Downstate Transit Center, and Omaha (NE) Metro. Boomeranged back to CH2M and stayed through CH2M's acquisition by Jacobs Engineering.

Provided full time support at the Maurice J. Tobin School in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston as part of Americorps (a 10-month program where volunteers are paid a stipend for service work).
