As a member of a four person team, responsible for thought leadership development in the healthcare industry through speaking and writing assignments culminating in over 150 published articles and 100 speaking engagements. Responsibilities: Publish at least once a month in an effort to secure paid speaking engagements with the overall goal of "breaking even" at the end of the year while developing brand awareness and a "halo" for the organization in the healthcare market. In this position members of the team were specifically prohibited from marketing to clients and/or potential clients.

Apogee sold to another consulting group in 1998)Founded and built this revenue cycle consulting firm to 16 employees and $8 million in revenue over a four year period before selling the company to a larger consulting firm in 1998. Handled all aspects at some point in the history of the company, but end the end was acting solely as President and CEO.Responsibilities: Sales and management this small national consulting firm from inception to sale including all marketing, finance and administrative functions. At sale, the company had 16 employees, 20 multi-year clients (multi year recurring revenue), and 8 million dollars in recurring revenue.

Reporting to the CEO was responsible for all financial aspects of this $250 million non-profit healthcare center including reimbursement, A/R, A/P, payroll and budgeting.Responsibilities: Managed five direct reports and over 125 employees in all aspects of the day to day financial transactions of the hospital. A notable achievement was that the hospital had NO audit adjustments during my tenure. My team accomplished this by completing a full internal self audit prior to the arrival of the external audits. We accomplished this due to the development of a culture of excellence in the financial department of the organization allowing for zero defects in the corporate financial statements.
