Supervising and monitoring of small audit teams (i.e three to four members per assignment)Preparing audit reports, Mentoring audit trainees at the National Audit Office

• Review and submit the unit’s annual audit plan to the Director of Audit• Prepare and submit the draft audit report of the consolidated accounts of the Government of the Gambia financial statements• Assign and coordinate the various audit assignments within the unit• Review working papers of ongoing assignments• Assist the Director in leading entrance and exit meetings• Coordinate regional treks• Conduct hot and cold review on audit assignment • Review annual risk based work plans• Lead engagement meetings and exit conferences with clients• Conduct final stage review of assignment files• Responsible for the audit of government of the Gambia financial statements• Provide technical back up to the Auditor General in his annual reporting to the National Assembly on government financial statements
