I work for Farmer’s Telecommunications in Northeast Alabama.We are a customer owned cooperative that is made up of basically all homegrown workers raised up in this area. We are blessed with great leadership.We have now passed all of our home customer base with fiber and will be 100 percent cut over to fiber by the first of spring. I’m the foreman of a 5 man splice and trouble shooting crew, they make my life easy with their determination to tackle whatever jobs and surprises are thrown our way. The fiber industry is always changing, blessed to have a job that i always look forward to.
