Held many command and staff positions and tasked with leading up to 120 personnel and supervising up to $400 million in assets and equipment. Served as a tank commander, Blackhawk pilot, Commander and supply chain manager for a Blackhawk Battalion. Conceived, planned and organized multiple large scale operations.• As a solo effort, executed and acquired funding $750K of outside funding for a joint strategic airlift mission involving the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force, which involved transporting 8 helicopters and 25 personnel, from 4 different states, and 8 separate agencies to Hawaii for a counter-narcotics operation.• As the officer in charge of the supply chain for a battalion of UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters I oversaw and streamlined the procurement of new equipment and planned for the deployment of all equipment overseas.• Planned and executed Operation Clearview, a security operation to support FBI, with the goal of interdicting cross border narcotics operations.• Planned all flight operations pertaining to this operation and assisted in the apprehension of approximately 30 drug smugglers and several thousand pounds of narcotics.

Platinum Equity has $2.85Bn under management where I focused on transactions in the lower/middle market.• Identified and evaluated over 300 potential companies for acquisition and discovered ways in which Platinum could create value and improve performance.• Performed due diligence on USA.net, an email servicing company.

Pegasus Capital Group is a private equity firm which focuses on small niche companies with a minimum EBITDA of $2 million and EBITDA margins of 10% or greater. • Developed and implemented a firm marketing plan which increased deal flow into the organization.• Performed financial analysis of prospective acquisitions and conducted in depth market research into target industries to include the ethanol, medical, aerospace, entertainment and basic manufacturing industries.

Led staff of 19 and managed day-to-day operations of an airport with the largest runway in Orange County. • Negotiated a deal to bring Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. to the airport. This transaction involved the construction of a $6 million hangar and annual revenue generation of $1 million.• Responsible for a financial re-structuring of the airfield, which saved the California State treasury millions of dollars in future maintenance and operations costs. • Completed a $5 million upgrade to streamline the fuel delivery process by increasing the throughput and storage capacity of the facility, which pumps over 1 million gallons of fuel a year.

Traveled nationwide to re-engineer and restructure the Department of the Navy’s content management processes while increasing operational efficiency.• Acted as the engagement controller for all financial, auditing and invoicing needs for an $8 million project• Conceived of and developed a marketing campaign that was implemented across the company.• Consistently received an overall evaluation of “Exceeds Expectations” and identified by management as a “High Performer.”

Advised the Senator on military and veterans affairs issues; producing legislative research papers pertinent to current and future legislative initiatives. Communicated constituent issues and topics of concern to the Senator through regular briefings and written reports.
