• As the Senior Design Engineer for the SkyZone international franchise, I am responsible for all internally produced product designs and implementations.• Oversee all (SolidWorks 2018) documentation for manufacturing, installation, maintenance and design communication.• Manage two other Design Engineers (both BSME grads) who also produce models and documentation in SolidWorks.• Report directly to VP of Development, co-founder of SkyZone Franchise group.• Responsible for complying with all ASTM industry guidelines, work closely with outside Prof. Structural Engineers and regional domestic and international development review boards (ex. Pennsylvania Ride Board, ECO Government-affiliate Engineering Group in Dubai UAE, many others)• As the largest player in our industry by a wide margin, work with ASTM boards to develop new industry standards• Oversee constant value engineering efforts to offset fierce and accelerating domestic and international competition in attraction development; my efforts have saved our network of clients over $700,000 in 2018 alone (see Awards – WOW Award)• Varied role in charge of taking new ideas from concept all the way to installation – including ground-up design, materials sourcing and vendor relationships, prototype ordering and assessment, structural load testing and quality review, project management (parts ordering, shipping and labor logistics) for in-park installations. Once installed, I visit parks to review the quality of the execution and make any recommendations for design or installation method changes.• As a Design Engineer, most projects are static and dynamic structural elements, though a few projects incorporate sensors, basicprogramming and circuit design - all of which I manage until the point of manufacture.• Recent project examples include: Full development of modular Ninja Warrior courses for our international release.

• Worked with a 4-person team of engineers and product designers to develop high-quality prototypes of consumer products for various clients – from lone inventors to major corporations in need of RnD. • Design lead on a number of projects whereby I received an aesthetic design from our industrial engineer, then used SolidWorks to design all components and assemblies to ready the product for fabrication.• Assisted in design and fabrication of prototypes led by my co-designers as well.

• Used SolidWorks to design many custom components for prototype toys and lab calibration equipment.• Co-designed and assembled 80/20 aluminum frame 3D monitor-mount for VR headset spatial optics calibration.• Electro-mechanical assembly of IOT/VR prototypes – integrated with Arduino and XBee for wireless TX/RX.• Operated and maintained Stratasys 3D Printer, heavy use of soldering, band-saw, dremmel, drill-press, grinder.
