Buddhdev is founder and Manging Editor of Swasthya, a Journal for Healthcare Professionals. The publication has special sections on Surgery, cardiology and Mental health and readership of over 6,000 medical doctors. He is Fellowship of the Institute of International Organisational Psychological Medicine. He is one of the key founders of British Indian Psychiatric Association and contributed as Director of Corporate Affairs and Policies- over 22 year. He also helped to found Medical defence Shield and as deputy CEO maintaining its development and infra structure while supporting case workload. He has served a Director of Racial Equality for a number of Race Councils funded by the former Commission for Racial Equality. He has also served as Chief Officer for British International Doctors Association and as Director for the British Indian Psychiatrists Association. He is a member of the Commonwealth Journalists Association with experience as an hon Chief Editor of the national ethnic award-winning Asian Lite newspaper. He founded and developed ‘The Physician’ a medical journal as its Managing Editor and Sushruta, a magazine for doctors. As publisher, he also edits Gujarat UK Journal for the Indian diaspora and the key movers and shakers in India. With background in Electronics and race equality, Buddhdev has been promoting capacity building initiatives through implementing standards for good governance.
