Upon my employment with Ferguson, I began in the position of inside sales, where I completed the sales calls for vendors in the local Clarksville region. Within six months, I was promoted to outside sales for the Montgomery County/Ft. Campbell sales territory, which included handling the business accounts for the military base, as well as Austin Peay State University. I stayed in this position for almost a year, and was then promoted to be the branch manager. In 2015, the Clarksville location of Ferguson had annual sales exceeding $10 million. Our branch is consistently ranked in the top ten of our division in the Southeast U.S.

Began working with this company at the Nashville location as a counter salesman. From there, I moved to inside sales, and worked my way to outside sales. Subsequently, my promotion transferred me to the Clarksville branch. From outside salesman, I was then promoted to branch manager. My daily tasks included managing daily operations of the store and our sales territory of the Clarksville and Ft. Campbell areas.

Began with the company in the lawn and garden department, and worked my way up to lead the special services department, which oversaw all special orders, the delivery department, and contracted sales.

Enlisted in the Navy upon graduating high school, and worked my way into the role as the ship's navigator. Deployments included tours in the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, and North Atlantic while upon the USS Santa Barbara. Our ship was engaged in the conflict with Libya in 1986 as part of the battle group that represented our country.
