In this position my duties include assisting in driving the achievement of financial goals in multiple departments by ensuring associates follow the inventory management process, teaching associates how to develop and follow through with SWAS plans, supervision of associates in multiple departments by assigning duties, developing and communicating goals, teaching and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the Open Door Policy, conduct daily meetings, ensuring claims and returns are properly handled, ensuring area is zoned and merchandised, making sure shrink and damages are identified and a safe work environment is maintained, providing exceptional customer service by acknowledging the customer and identifying the customer’s needs and locating merchandise and resolving customer issues and complaints, work with associates to ensure compliance logs like cleaning and temperature, work with hourly supervisors to ensure associates are available to meet daily production plans, and participating in the hiring, recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating of associates in assigned area.
