– Technical Sales Representative 2009 – 2013Responsible for the sale of Wieland products in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. The product line was diverse totaling approximately 12,000 part numbers and included such product as electrical interconnect products, relays, power supplies, Ethernet switches, industrial connectors, field bus I/O systems and safety PLC’s. The supported customer base included OEM accounts as well the authorized distribution channel. In addition to the defined geographical area, I was also responsible for supporting Wieland’s largest OEM and their five manufacturing facilities across the US.– Director of Operations 2003 – 2009Responsible for managing the inside sales team, purchasing, engineering, production, and warehouse. While in this role, I provided bridge management for 8 months following the loss of the president and national sales manager. During this time, I lead the subsidiary through reorganization and participated in the recruitment of the new President and National Sales Manager.-Application Engineer Leader 2001 - 2002Responsible for leading all technical support, custom design, agency approval and quotation efforts. It was also my responsibility to manage all competitive pricing, ensuring that a successful sales strategy was implemented at the quotation level and continued until an order was realized.- Electronics Product Manager 1998 - 2001Responsible for the marketing, sales, and gross profit of Wieland’s electronic products, including signal-conditioning modules, power supplies, and standard/custom interface solutions.- Application Engineer 1997 - 1998Provided technical support to customers, distributors, and OEM’s for all product groups.
