Dr. Budi Aji is a public health by training. He attained his bachelor from Faculty of Public Health at Diponegoro University-Semarang. He did his master degree at the Graduate Institute of Health Care administration at Asia University-Taiwan, and graduated from PhD program at Institute of Public Health, University of Heidelberg-Germany. He has been working as a lecturer and researcher at the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Jenderal Soedirman University-Purwokerto since 2002. As a researcher, He is currently focusing his projects on health policy, health economics, global health, health equity and climate change.Along with his duties at the School of Public Health, he attended seminars and met with public health leaders at different functions and events. All these activities confirmed his growing interest in public health, health policy, health economics, global health, and climate change, particularly in developing countries. These are his strongest interests because he believes they are fundamental to his country, Indonesia.
