Activities included system design and architecture definition, high-speed digital design (including DSP), FPGA development and some RF circuit design. High-speed design and signal integrity techniques were employed resulting in first pass success. This design included schematic design and layout using Cadstar, writing new firmware for the hardware (VHDL, C, or Assembly), and working closely with manufacturing to move the new boards into production.
