A native Floridian, Buffy A. Butler is managing director of NEXTAFF of South Florida, a national Workforce Strategies franchise, which specializes in helping businesses in all sectors Acquire, Employ and Support talent, enabling them to successfully compete in the marketplace. The South Florida office, more specifically, focuses on providing school crossing guard services to governmental agencies and private/religious institutions. With over 20 state-certified school crossing guard trainers on staff, NEXTAFF of South Florida, also provides school crossing guard training to county governments, municipalities, educational institutions and private companies needing the necessary certification and training to carry out their work. Ms. Butler, a certified Florida Department of Transportation School Crossing Guard Trainer, is a subject matter expert, helping to shape policy locally and statewide. Through NEXTAFF's Workforce Strategies solutions, the South Florida office is able to assist their school crossing guard clients improve efficiency and quality, enabling them to concentrate on their core business activities. Ms. Butler serves as a board member for the Women's Business Development Council of Florida, chairing the council's Human Resources committee; additionally, she serves as a member of the following organizations: the American Staffing Association, Florida Staffing Association, Society of Human Resource Management and the Human Resources Association of Broward County.
