With over fifteen years of experience, now as an Engineering Scientist and a Research Assistant Professor, I apply my PhD in Applied Biomedical Engineering and my Bachelor's in Computer Engineering to the field of rehabilitation science and neuroscience. I work at the Kessler Foundation and affiliated with the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where I conduct cutting-edge research on the neuromuscular mechanisms and recovery techniques for individuals with various neurological impairments, such as spinal cord injury.My core competencies include EEG, EMG, tDCS, TMS recording and analysis, signal processing, coherence and power analysis, statistical analysis, patient contact, clinical trials, and laboratory management. I have led and contributed to multiple studies that have resulted in publications and grants. My overall research goal is to develop treatment techniques that minimize the possibility of residual deficits and harness the potential of surviving neuronal systems for recovery. I am passionate about pursuing my ideas in a collaborative and innovative environment that supports excellence and impact.
