HackingHub evolved from CTFchallenge.com which was a side project I started in 2019 born from being frustrated that there weren't any realistic web application hacking challenges. The challenges I created came from the mindset of hacking a whole application or whole businesses rather than just a single endpoint. Today I have two main duties, firstly developing and mainting the main application which is built on a LEMP stack with my own custom PHP framework, the main application handles user registration, listing challenges, leaderboards, backend management, email campaigns and handling the launching of new challenges either from cloud VMs or my own application for managing docker containers (similar to a very scaled-down k8).My second duty is creating educational web app hacking challenges, these range from different vulnerability classes, known vulns and infrastructure misconfigurations. Each challenge usually has some amount of research first and then the creation of the challenge and then packaging it up in a docker container ready for deployment.

Moving Intelligence UK was a product of a buyout of Phantom Ltd from the dutch firm Moving Intelligence B.V. As I'd worked at Phantom Ltd for many years and developed the majority of their systems from the ground up I was hired to try and integrate them with the current dutch platform which ran on SalesForce. Some of the projects I got involved with were:- Synchronisation of customer records.- Synchronisation of customer orders/invoices.- Migration of Direct Debit payments and mangement.- Synchronisation of customers subscriptions and tracking device/vehicle information.

Providing IT solutions for growing businesses. Through Umbrella Systems And Services Ltd I have personally been involved in projects such as a bespoke website for an Estate Agent, Working with an E-bay seller to take their on-line car parts business from 35,000 eBay listings to over 1.2 Million and developing a telephone network for Britain's largest bakery to link their 20 sites across the country for free telephone calls between sites.

From my reputation of building fun and accurate CTF's I was contracted to build purposefully vulnerable web applications (CTFs) for HackerOne. These applications were either used for events where hackers would compete to be the first person to hack the application in order for HackerOne to recruit hackers or to be put on the Hacker101 education platform which educates and tests hackers skills. Some of these events would attract thousands of hackers where I'd be solely responsible for creating the theme, challenge and administration of the server they ran on.

Using my generalist skill set I helped develop multipe rooms and collaborated on several learning paths. I created content to help teach people about networking fundamentals, how the web works and web application security. I coupled my written content with interactive and fun gamified labs to ensure the users success on learning about a subject.Outside of my content creation I also built two useful tools for users to improve their engagement with the platform, the first was a reverse proxy which allowed users to access web only labs without the requirement of being connected to the VPN. Secondly a web based DNS and HTTP request capture application for logging the afore mentioned protocols to either monitor interactions from Blind XSS attacks or for the exfiltration of data over DNS.I'm mostly proud of my "Introduction to Web Hacking" module, where in 9 seperate rooms I introduce users in what is, how to find and how to exploit vulnerabilites such as SQL Injection, XSS, SSRF, File Inclusion, IDOR and authentication bypasses. I also teach the methodogy on how to engage a target website and discovery of new assets through content discovery and subdomain enumeration.

I worked with Hacker House to finish off a half done project left over from previous contractor which was a web based education platform that taught users about Ethical Hacking. I also implemented an SSO and several microservices with strict access controls. I also helped with some tweaks to their main website running on wordpress and woocommerce.A couple of times I got involved in penetration tests for some of Hacker Houses's long term clients where I was happy to find a couple of small vulnerabilities.

I headed up a small team of consisting of an iOS and android developer, graphics designer and frontend developer with daily tasks consisting of but not limited to web development, SEO, hosting, network management, security, database administration and IT support. I was originally employed to activate tracking units with engineers over the telephone and input customer data. I quickly showed the staff at Phantom I was capable of much more. In-between technical calls I started developing a web based internal system, which would replace our current CRM system that we were all frustrated with. The system handled customer data, invoices, orders, shipping, stock control, fitting schedules and job sheets for our engineers. We still use this system today 7 years later although it is currently receiving a complete overhaul.Due to securing a deal with a major caravan manufacturer margins had become tight and it became apparent that we would need to develop our own in-house system for communicating with the tracking units. This project involved learning about GPS, decoding binary data and SMS aggregators. The project was a successes and we moved over 14000 tracking devices from the 3rd party supplier to our own system which saved us thousands of pounds every month. At this point I was made a director of the company and given the title of Technical Director.Over the past 6 years we have been moving into the fleet market and produced our own web based tracking system which enables business users to monitor their fleet of vehicles with functions such as current locations, journey replays, geo-fencing, custom reports and much more.

IT Support for Lloyds TSB Group. Remotely fixing desktop problems, minor windows server administration (password resets), logging jobs for onsite engineers and ordering hardware replacements.

I was in change of managing the progressive roll out of chip and pin devices for Alliance & Leicester merchant services. Updating equipment and fixing any errors.

Inputting data onto the company system from scanned life insurance applications and medical records from doctors.
