HackingHub evolved from CTFchallenge.com which was a side project I started in 2019 born from being frustrated that there weren't any realistic web application hacking challenges. The challenges I created came from the mindset of hacking a whole application or whole businesses rather than just a single endpoint. Today I have two main duties, firstly.

Through Umbrella Systems And Services Ltd I have personally been involved in projects such as a bespoke website for an Estate Agent, Working with an E-bay seller to take their on-line car parts business from 35,000 eBay listings to over 1.2 Million and developing a telephone network for Britain's largest.

From my reputation of building fun and accurate CTF's I was contracted to build purposefully vulnerable web applications (CTFs) for HackerOne. These applications were either used for events where hackers would compete to be the first person to hack the application in order for HackerOne to recruit hackers or to be put on the Hacker101 education platform.

Using my generalist skill set I helped develop multipe rooms and collaborated on several learning paths. I created content to help teach people about networking fundamentals, how the web works and web application security. I coupled my written content with interactive and fun gamified labs to ensure the users success on learning about a subject.Outside of.
