My SpielI enjoy getting to know people and digging deeper to see potential. I listen as much as I talk – It’s a 2-way street. Even the best opportunities can be miserable if they don’t bring fulfillment. Am I right?! I’m not a fan of the title “recruiter.” It screams sales to me and that’s not what I do. I match great candidates with opportunities. I don’t sell candidates to take a position they’ll hate or leave out details to “sell” a role. Have you ever told a recruiter that work/life balance was essential and then found yourself in a position that expects a 60 hour + work week? Or that you would support X in a role and in reality, you ended up supporting A-Z? Those are what we call, “great learning experiences.” It’s how most people figure out what they want; by discovering what they don’t want. Looking for a job?I’ve been there.
