Among the number of works I helped edit for flow and content as well as accuracy, I became particularly involved on an extensive 3-part manuscript where I worked alongside both the author and the managing editor over the course of several weeks. I also assisted with the production of a Facebook and Twitter profile for the company in order to better promote events such as book readings.

I did extensive research for a planned publication, creating a full annotated bibliography and a chronological timeline. The job required me to turn dense academic content into a more accessible format and to ensure all bibliographical information was accurate and properly formatted to MLA standards.

One of my main tasks was to help with festival promotion. I wrote a series of regular tweets providing unique and interesting trivia in order to generate attention, particularly within the 18-29 age range. The VIWF continued to use my promotional material during the months leading up to festival. I also created study guides to be published online for teachers to use in the classroom. In addition, I assisted in the editing of festival brochures and was responsible for coordinating with a number of school districts to ensure we correctly sent our promotional materials to each school.
