• Managing the public health and health and safety research portfolio within the House of Commons Library• Responding to individual research requests from MPs in order to support their understanding of health-related topics, responding to each request with a confidential, bespoke research briefing.• Analysing a wide range of complex and detailed information and data, making judgements as to reliability, credibility and partiality of sources used.• Maintaining high levels of confidentiality and political sensitivity, as necessary to deliver an impartial research service to all MPs.• Publishing a range of research briefings aiming to support MPs’ understanding of key policy areas and new legislation. As a member of the Sub-Panel for Public Health, Health Services and Primary Care, I assessed the wider impact of research carried out by academic institutions submitted for the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021. REF is the UK’s system for assessing the excellence of research in UK higher education providers (HEIs) and outcomes are used to inform the allocation of £2 billion annual funding.

- Ensured the safe and effective running of pharmacy and supply of medicines to patients in line with GPhC standards- Oversaw supply of medicines via several PGDs for ED, EHC, hair loss, period delay, malaria prevention and NRT for smoking cessation- Developed strategic relationships with other local healthcare providers including OOH providers, GPs, walk in clinics, dental practices and other pharmacies- Used the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and local health profile to assess health needs in local environment and develop strategic approaches for setting health priorities- Acted as Project Lead for successful implementation of new Quality Payment and Healthy Living Pharmacy Accreditation. - Successfully lead and undertook local and company initiated public health campaigns with measured outcomes- Acted as Clinical Governance Lead, overseeing reporting of clinical errors- Successfully implemented new processes (rewards incentive for KRA achievement, customer repeat prescription), guiding staff successfully through change management with desired outcomes achieved- Responsible for retail profitability of pharmacy department- Delivered highest YOY increase in Medicines Use Reviews (53%) across Kent & Sussex region including a 500% comparative week increase. - Delivered 62% YOY increase on flu jab delivery and 13% YOY increase in customer satisfaction (CPPQ survey).- Responsible for merchandise management, medicines ordering and procurement and visual merchandising- Held line management, training and education responsibility for ten pharmacy colleagues. This included various administrative and managerial responsibilities e.g. rota management, recruitment, sickness and absence management, counselling and coaching and conflict resolution

GPhC accredited Medicines Counter Assistant. Skills included dispensing, OTC medicines sale, long term condition management, medicines optimisaiton, minor ailment management, prescription processing and stock ordering and management.

Paid role, began as General Student Ambassador in November 2010. Promoted to Lead Ambassador in December 2012. Role focuses on widening participation to higher education in school aged students. I achieve these using of a variety of methods; working on residential summer schools, delivering in school talks and workshops, assisting on school visit days, long term peer mentoring. Also responsible for coordinating teams of ambassador and the running of activities during these events.

Currently leading an on campus, faith based student society. Initially part of a 5 member leadership team from 2010-2012 serving as society Treasurer before being asked to serve as President in late 2012. Thoroughly comprehensive post, responsible for overseeing activities of the society including weekly Bible studies, bi-annual campus events (with attendance of up to 150 students), support of charitable projects such as the Rwareness human trafficking campaign.
