Member of the El Paso Site Cost Accounting management team-serving as an objective and strategic Advisor and financial partner, leading collaborative cross-functional effort to drive relevant, flexible and efficient financial planning and cost analysis that supports Cardinal Health's key business sites within U.S./Dominican Republic/Mexico and Singapore. Support Financial Planning Systems & Costing objectives focusing on El Paso and regional cost controls/expense and inventory managment. Alignment with other key multi-site strategic financial partners and supporting collaborative cross-functional efforts to drive relevant, flexible and efficient internal SOX controls, material, labor, overhead costing and analysis in order to support key business plans/decisions and inventory flows across multiple systems. Driving value by providing analytical counsel to facilitate interactions with other sites , decision-marking and best practices business alternatives.

Varying range of responsibilities over a 23 year period with Avery Dennison- Office Products North America, RFID and RBIS divisions-El Paso, Tx and Juarez, Mexico covering Financial and Cost Accounting, Cost center to profit center P&L and Balance Sheet accounting and Inventory controls (SOX) as well taking the role of Supply Chain Management with Avery Dennison / RFID and RBIS Retail Divisions. Key leader of Oracle ERP software implementation in Juarez, Mexico.Developing processes for forecasting and costing of finished goods, measuring production overhead spending and labor efficiencies with headcount requirements. Position with increasing responsibilities over activities of both U.S. and International (Mexico)- Financial departments for 5 business units (manufacturing) operating in 3 plants generating $70 million-Annual sales and accounting for average of 600 employees. Responsible for the location financials-Led annual AOP-budgeting process, forecasting, month-end close, variance analysis, product cost, and consolidation of U.S. -Mexican ledgers

Responsible for the expense, costing and balance sheet inventory reporting of assets in excess of $20 million. Designed and revised labor reporting variance analysis tool with an average 800 employees over 3 shifts. Gross margin analysis, variance analysis and cost analysis for special or U.S. duties and intercompany transfers. Custom spreadsheet programs development for internal use in evaluating standard cost for inventory analysis. Re-designed the old chart of accounts and refined to provide better roll-up of direct and indirect labor by department. Prepared labor/efficiency/costs of goods manufactured expenditure reports for management. Supervised cost accounting month end general ledger close, physical inventory, account reconciliations and fixed asset accounting.

Responsibilities included variance analysis, capital expenditure reporting in excess of $50 million.Monthly expense /accounts payable analysis for well drilling activity and Lease Accounting.
