I've always had a love for film and spent alot of time on the computer growing up. When it was announced that The Lord of the Rings was to be made in New Zealand, I knew I wanted to be a part of the film industry. I set out to find the opportunity that would allow me combine my passions and to help create these fantastic worlds. I got my first job at Weta Digital when I was 17 on Peter Jackson's King Kong where I started as a terrain modeler but eventually grew into making assets and being a part of the 3D scanning department. After nearly five years at Weta, London was calling. Double Negative offered me a job, and I packed my bags as fast as I could. I got to work on some amazing films like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and was on-set for several films including Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. Two years later, I was ready for a change from London and embraced the snow in Vancouver, BC. I started at MPC making assets but ended up being on-set for The Seventh Son I was apart of the shoot for 2.5 months. Now I am at Scanline VFX, as a CG working on some absolutely outstanding shows. The On-Set work at Scanline has been international and a great experience.
