Responsibility:- Drive engineering excellent by adopting best practices in API design, coding style, CICD and cloud-native architecture.- Improve the features lead time, system availability, services response time, deployment downtime and cloud hosting cost.- Introduce, research, setup and manage IaaS/PaaS platforms to allow developers to self-service on development, testing and deployment.Selected projects:- Lead the re-architecture of existing products/services from monolithic into a set of RESTful microservices. [Docker, Node.js, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Nginx, Redis]- Lead the multiple stages cloud platform migration from VM based microservices infrastructure to docker architecture, finally in fully Kubernetes architecture. [pm2 (stage 1), Docker (stage 2 & 3), Ansible (stage 2), Jenkins (stage 2 & 3), CoreOS (stage 2 & 3), Kubernetes (stage 3)]- Introduce, setup and manage multiple Kubernetes clusters in AWS to allow developers to test, deploy and run microservices. [Docker, Kubernetes, CoreOS, kops, AWS]- Lead the setup and management of on-premise Kubernetes cluster on top of vSphere and integrated it with vSphere datastore and F5. [Docker, Kubernetes, vSphere, Terraform, typhoon, matchbox, iPXE, F5]- Setup and manage clustered and highly available database (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and messaging service (RabbitMQ) for development and production purpose. [Docker, Kubernetes, Percona, ProxySQL, Redis, HAProxy, RabbitMQ]- Introduce, setup and manage CICD pipeline, centralized logging and service health monitoring [Jenkins Pipeline, Ansible, Nexus, Docker, ElasticSearch, fluentd, Kibana, AWS CloudWatch, AWS lambda, AWS SNS, Prometheus, Grafana, Slack]- Design and implement highly available job processing services in RESTful API. [RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, Node.js, Kubernetes]- Design and implement OAuth2 protocols for mobile to API and inter-services authorization and authentication. [Node.js, OAuth2]
