•        Responsible for all Agricultural Operations – Including Bush Clearing, Land preparation, irrigation installation ( Drip), plantation, Crop Management. R&D department and Harvest•        Manage field technical problems in relation to agricultural activity•        Manage and supervise mechanical activities including Logistical arrangementfor transportation of cane / Road and Drain Maintenance •        Plantation scheduling and implementation (More than 2000ha under subsurface Irrigation system with the latest automated technology)•        Responsible of the Agronomy Department – ( Pest and Disease Scouting, soil analysis, growth attributes, fertigation, weed management / Juice quality)•        Supervise pest or weed control operations •        Design and implementing tools for proper management and monitoring of inputs – implementing information system to traceability and control on cost of production - recently worked with VSI to introduce Agricultural Management System •        Preparation yearly and revised budget and closely monitoring actual vs budget expenses on a monthly basis•        Work closely with Accounting/ IT department for implementation of accounting costing code•        Stock management - procurement•        Coordinate with HR department for preparation of Agricultural Department Organogram•        Put in place Performance Management System with KPI’s to assess and provide support to Junior staff•        Manage man power (Fixed and seasonal) •        Encourage labour productivity /review cost of production•        Learning and development of staff and labour•        Monitor security issues and enforce high standards of safety•        Assist in the implementation of good management practices. Recently implementing Mechanical harvest and plantation. Manager/ Plan and supervise Harvest ( Manual and Mechanical) - Mill and seed caneDesigned harvest and Haulage Simulation tool

I am currently managing manpower through organisation of work, proper training, close follow-ups, focussing on all the required ethics including disciplinary actions, developing Team spirit and Health and Safety of employees and follows up of monthly payroll regarding diversification employees with strict control on overtime.I am responsible for Stock Management and procurement, Fleet management and coordination of planting, field activities and harvest. I am in charge for the Preparation and monitoring of forecasted budget with actual budget and my daily work requires me to collaborate with other business units to ensure continuous improvements as a whole team.I am always collecting, recording, analyzing and reporting data as required by higher managerial level; conduct experiments and/or implement required changes to field operations that will lead to understanding and optimizing production. Lately I have developed and implemented new methods of growing crops to secure more efficient production, higher yield, and improved quality
