Ying Wang received her Ph.D. in circuits and systems from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) in 2003. From January 2004 to March 2004, she was invited to work as a visiting researcher in Communications Research Laboratory (renamed NiCT from April 2004), Yokosuka, Japan. And in 2005, she worked as a research associate in The University of Hong Kong. Now she is a professor of BUPT and the Director of Radio Resource Management Lab, Wireless Technology Innovation Institute, BUPT. Her research interests are in the area of the cooperative and cognitive systems, radio resource management and mobility management in the Beyond 4G and 4G systems. She has taken part in completion of Sino-Sweden inter-governmental high-tech cooperation project and NSFC/RGC project. As the person responsible of the work from BUPT, she contributes a lot to the completion of the EU Sixth Framework MING-T project. Now she is responsible for a number of national, provincial, ministerial and enterprises scientific research projects, such as NSFC, 863 project and National Key Project. She is active in Standardization activities of 3GPP and ITU. She took part in performance evaluation work of Chinese Evaluation Group (ChEG), as a representative of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. She won first prizes of scientific and technological progress award by China Institute of Communications in 2006 and 2009 respectively, a second prize of national scientific and technological progress award in 2008. She was also selected in New Star Program of Beijing Science and Technology Committee and New Century Excellent Talents in University, Ministry of Education, in 2007 and 2009 respectively.She has published more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences proceedings.
