Dr. Burak Bilgin is an associate professor of ophthalmology at the Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University, School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, Kahramanmaras, Turkey. He received his medical licence in 2007 and residency in ophthalmology in 2012 from Uludag University School of Medicine and Osmangazi University School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, respectively. After his five-year career as ophthalmology specialist, he was accepted in Bahcesehir University as an assistant professor of Ophthalmology in 2017. In 2020, he earned the title of associate professor of ophthalmology. He still continues this academic position in Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University, School of Medicine as an associate professor of ophthalmology. His specialisation areas are; pediatric ophthalmology (especially retinopathy of prematurity), oculoplastic surgery, cataract surgery, strabismus surgery, retina, glaucoma, uvea, cornea and neuro-ophthalmology.
