My name is Burak GOKCE. I am currently studying Control and Automation Engineering in the 4th year and Mechanical Engineering in the 2nd year at Istanbul Technical University. Before that, I graduated from Private Enka Vocational Technical Anatolian High School as a Mechatronics Technician. With my curiosity, I made the necessary effort to improve myself on industrial automation issues in both institutions. During this education at my university; students are trained as engineering candidates who aim to improve themselves. The theoretical training provided here focuses on industrial automation, systems analysis, and control. And the practical information given to us about my department in my high school played a very important role in my development. I define myself as someone who aims to improve theoretical education with practice. I have been working in my family company which produces towel radiators for the heating industry. In this company, we are not just producing towel radiators. We are designing and producing our machines too. With my self-educated mechanical technician father, we have designed 5 machines for our system in 7 years. You can find more information about these machines in the Project Information file.I am currently working in ITU RAKE (Robotic Search And Rescue Team) as Mechanical Team Leader. Here we are developing robotic technologies for disaster search and rescue operations. With our team, we are working to improve our theoretical knowledge with practical work. With 7 years of Solidworks CAD design experience, knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, and my interest in Embedded system coding; I believe I contributed to my team.
