My role involves conducting thorough analysis and research to uncover and evaluate new business opportunities or structures that can optimize the bank's efficiency, profitability, and cost-saving measures. My responsibilities include conducting competitor product analyses to evaluate their impact and reporting the findings to senior management. I also research banking industry trends and developments to improve the bank's competitive edge. Prior to this, I served as Assistant VP of Budget, MIS, and Corporate Performance within the Finance Dept., a position I assumed in September 2023. In this role, I have played a crucial part in ensuring the bank's financial success. I have been responsible for developing and implementing budget plans that align with the bank's strategic goals. I have meticulously tracked performance against these goals, providing regular reports to senior management. My analysis and insights have offered a clear picture of the bank's financial health, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting strategies for optimization. Ultimately, I have empowered management to make informed decisions, driving the bank towards its long-term financial objectives.Prior to my position at Turkiye Finans, I held the role of Financial Planning, Control and Strategy Manager in the Finance Dept. of Odeabank. Previously, I served as the Line of Business Profitability and Financial Control Director at Aktifbank for two years. Before my time at Aktifbank, I worked as the Budget Management and Financial Coordination Assistant VP at Şekerbank for one and a half years.Prior to joining Şekerbank, I was employed at Türkiye Finans for a total of eight years. During my tenure there, I served as a Corporate Performance Senior Specialist in the Budget, MIS, and Corporate Performance Dept. for three years. I also pursued and completed an MBA at Sabancı Univ. while working at Türkiye Finans, finishing the program during my final two years in that role. Before my promotion to Senior Specialist, I was a Strategy and Project Management Specialist in the Strategy and Business Development Dept. for five years.Following my graduation from Yeditepe Univ. in 2010 with degrees in both Mathematics and Business Admin., I worked as a Credit Expert Assistant at ALJ-Toyota Community Initiatives for one year. During my university years, I participated in a student exchange program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I primarily took courses in Finance and Economics.
