Burak Maşalı is a Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Barcelona. He took his Bachelor's degree from Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey. His areas of interest include tissue biomechanics, physiological modeling, 3D modeling, mathematical modeling, and biofluid mechanics.Currently, he is conducting research focusing on the female genitourinary system (Developing a 3-D Anatomic and Physiologic Model for Nuclear Medicine Applications) and the male urogenital system (Biomechanics of Hypospadias and Biomechanical Explanation of Penis Physiology). With a passion for reading, traveling, and sports, Burak aims to advance in his academic career.
