Molecular synthesis of a drug useful for the treatment of brain cancer is being carried out with "Photodynamic therapy" PDT in the METU research laboratory, together with doctoral students. Research and studies are carried out on the synthesis of the targeted molecule through a determined chemical reaction mechanism. • Many synthesis reactions have been tried with different chemical reactionmethods. The target brain cancer drug core has been synthesized to someextent.• By conducting a literature search, the steps required to reach the targetmolecule were accurately investigated.• Experienced in using the correct separation method
