Following my studies at Northwestern University’s School of Communication, I started my professional career in Corporate and Brand Advertising in Vienna, Austria - I worked in internationally renowned advertising agencies servicing multinational companies for 10 years before relocating to Shanghai, China in 2007. 💡Key learnings: orchestrating international campaigns, branding strategy, market research, event management, communications projects.✪ Shanghai was my first exposure to living and working with Asian cultures. There I pioneered two newly created positions - International Marketing Manager and European Product Manager - for Seattle-based PMI's two most recognized consumer/lifestyle brands. I traveled the world for my role and used my four languages. I also got familiar with all aspects of growing a global business. 💡Key learnings: product marketing, trade fair exhibits, distributor relations, international brand building, cross-regional communication.✪ In the past ten years in Germany, I have held two addresses, one in the Rheinland and now in Franconia. Relocating has taught me important skills in adaptability, tolerance, innovative and entrepreneurial thinking. I have a need to learn at all times. I started freelancing as a consultant to be flexible in schedule and location. Now, I am developing customer-oriented comms programs and growing customer accounts at hl-studios, a private firm specialized in cross-media b-to-b communications.I hope to connect with people here, empower and motivate others to grow personally, and share new ideas.
