Julie Burke is the founder and Director of Burke Therapy, LLC. Julie opened Burke Therapy, LLC as a therapeutic learning private practice to bridge the gap she believes exists between school and family and to help children develop the skills they need to grow into functional, independent adults by providing high quality, comprehensive services not only to the children themselves but to their caregivers as well. Burke Therapy, LLC is an independently owned Speech-Language Pathology private practice. As such, we provide families of children from preschool to high school as well as adults with the skills and tools needed to support successful day-to-day communication while encouraging the development and use of higher-level language and literacy skills.

As a licensed speech language pathologist, Julie provides direct services, comprehensive evaluations, needs assessments, professional development and technical assistance to families, as well as public and private school districts throughout Connecticut. She specializes in the areas of Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), inclusion, language-literacy skill development, receptive/expressive and social language delays, executive functioning and pragmatic deficits, articulation and phonological impairments, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and stuttering.
