I supported an amazing team that develops and delivers high-quality programs for adult learners. During the pandemic, we helped hundreds of adult learners connect to the basic resources such as food and housing resources. At the same time, our team worked together to facilitate remote learning opportunities. Our team maintained our programs through a high level of collaboration and organization. Literacy Network has been named a best place to work by Madison Magazine three times in the last six years. We have been a Top Nonprofit at GreatNonprofits.org for the last five years. We earned the 2022 GuideStar Platinum Seal of Transparency. In 2022, we were certified by the BBB Wise Giving Alliance. We were also one of just 15 organizations globally to receive a 2022 Library of Congress Literacy Award.Hundreds of donors contributed to our successful $3 million capital campaign to purchase and renovate a new learning center in the heart of South Madison, where our services are most needed. This was a transformational campaign which helped us expand student services and educational programming. We also built an endowment for ongoing operational support and increased sustainability of our programs. We've built impactful community partnerships with numerous libraries, schools, workplaces and social service agenices. These partnerships have helped expand our reach to server more areas of our community.

Developed collaborations with more than 200 community-based organizations throughout Wisconsin to share information about the BadgerCare Plus and FoodShare programs.In partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Center for Career Development and Employment Training. Developed curriculum for the Caregiver Project, an abuse and neglect prevention training for caregivers in long-term care settings. Hired and trained instructors to conduct the training statewide. Developed marketing materials and website.

Developed training and resources for staff to improve knowledge and skills on the job. Created partnerships with other organizations to provide training.

Supervised seven staff in occupational skills programs and adult basic education programs to help adults achieve their goals of better employment and education opportunities. I am proud that several program participants launched their health care careers by attending programs I created at the Dane County Job Center and are still employed in the field.
