About Emily B.
I am an eighth-year special education teacher who works with students that receive special education services with the primary disability of emotional impairment. I currently teach mathematics to middle school age students (grades 6-8) and have previously taught all subjects. As a result of my experience in the classroom as well as obtaining my master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Western Governors University I am well versed on educational policy and special education law. Additionally, I am proficient in all Google Suite applications as well as Microsoft applications. I have a passion for data and utilizing that data to look for patterns and solutions to various problems both academically and behaviorally. I am looking to utilize my education, experience and passions to further my career in impactful ways.
