Recruited and promoted to manage all aspects of Motiva Terminal and Pipeline assets/operations/employees in the US across 7 states (Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Texas) consisting of 25 products terminals, 8 underground chemical caverns, 1 large crude marine and pipeline terminal, 2 rail facilities, and 500+ miles of pipeline. Motiva is a wholly owned entity of Saudi Aramco.DELIVERED RESULTS:► Consolidated 4 disparate teams down to a single unit representing operations, commercial, engineering capabilities and health, safety and environment (HSE); currently oversee all capabilities.► Achieved a 99.7% uptime metric, increased customer satisfaction, reliability, and assurance of regulatory compliance, including DOT and process safety management (PSM) after developing an operational excellence management system (OEMS), ensuring a robust, streamlined, and consistent process to create safe and environmentally sound operations and project delivery.► Designed and implemented a fully DOT-compliant remote operations and control center, centralizing all pipeline and terminal operations into a single control center located in downtown Houston.► Reduced transportation costs after directly managing the design, construction, and operational readiness of 2 new pipeline connections at Port Neches crude terminal.

Internally recruited and oversaw site selection, design, engineering, construction, and operation for a network of retail LNG fueling stations for heavy-duty on-road trucks. Ensured entry into clean energy space, providing ESG benefits to Shell. Negotiated multimillion-dollar equipment contracts with global suppliers, developed and implemented safe operating programs and standard procedures under process safety management (PSM), and fully constructed and operationalized 5 sites.DELIVERED RESULTS:► Spearheaded the launch of a network of 100 LNG fueling facilities, overseeing every development aspect, including negotiation and management of all contracts and the development of relationships related to the procurement, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance of LNG facilities to drive adoption of clean energy.

Recruited internally to eliminate value leakage during acquisition and divestment projects. Ensured all post-closing rights and obligations were properly and effectively managed as the final authority. Served as Business Opportunity Manager for commercial activities in Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Peru and as Director of Shell Companies in Puerto Rico and Jamaica.DELIVERED RESULTS:► Closed a multimillion-dollar share sale and led country exit of all Shell downstream businesses in Chile.► Closed a multimillion-dollar asset sale representing 300+ retail service stations in Canada; managed all environmental, legal, and financial aspects of due diligence and closing.► Managed multimillion-dollar corporate liability issues for Shell in Puerto Rico, representing environmental and tax liability and the environmental remediation and dismantlement of the Yabucoa refinery.► Elected Chair of the board of directors and operations committee member of Shell joint venture in Jamaica; Jamaica Petroleum Terminal Company (JPT).

Recruited and promoted to oversee the negotiation and management of over 100 marine freight contracts representing millions of barrels of petroleum products. Developed a commercial shipping strategy, created a freight pool to reduce freight spend, shared shipping resources across lines of business, and built a single North America team to manage the US and Canada.DELIVERED RESULTS:► Created a marine freight pool consisting of 7 Jones Act mid-range petroleum tankers and leveraged pool to service the needs of all Shell companies requiring marine services while out chartering length in pool for profit.► Merged US and Canada commercial operations, creating a single North America team with standardized processes.► Project managed a multimillion-dollar shipbuilding project, including all commercial and legal operations for 3 ships.

Led client engagements and change initiatives to create a culture of transparency for executives, introduce cost-saving opportunities for managers, and operational efficiency for employees.DELIVERED RESULTS:► Built a single team (from 3 collective bargaining units) for Southern California mid-stream assets after establishing common goals and operating principles.► Designed the concept and developed the Carson Redevelopment Project, creating the foundation for terminal expansion and land development. Worked directly with the City of Carson and state agencies, including environmental and water quality control boards. Developed master plan for land use with development approved by the city.► Elected and served on the Carson Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
