In this role I lead a production team fulfilling orders in the Shredding and Grating Department. I ensure our day-to-day processes adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and current Bill of Materials. I help our team stay on track with production deadlines, sanitization procedures, and accurate documentation. I perform initial and ongoing training for all employees operating in the Shredding and Grating department and assist with training in CBM and warehouse management (i.e. forklift operators and material handlers). Additionally, I validate documentation for Production Records and Quality Control purposes. In this role I also perform other leadership tasks, such as: allocating breaks and break coverage to run a continuous line; assisting supervisors with fine-tuning processes to increase output while ensuring top-notch quality; and finally, resolving small department conflicts to harmonize our team and form a cohesive functional unit.
