With IHS Transformers (WFM) team processed new requests to update MS SQL objects based on business requests, find and correct production issues, and create new processes to allow for comprehensive processing of data between back-end databases and front-end UI applications.• Work with IHS Transformers (WFM) team to update MS SQL stored procedures based on new business processing requests. Most of this code base needed to refactored to accommodate new software versions or replacement of old products. Additionally, code documentation was added to help with understanding current processes.• Create or update SSIS packages and SQL Agent jobs to allow for fewer manual processes, decrease data processing time and allow for new automation with additional checkpoints, email statuses and flexibility across environments.• Redesign auto archiving and purging processes to allow for better control and transparentness. Added ability to individually run specific tables through new processes and keep track of all processes through enhanced logs.• Collaborated with other teams to implement promotion policies and procedures to meet with new company wide security structure.• Train and mentor off-shore teammates to allow for round the clock production support. Worked on two Data-Driven Maxar (DDM) teams: MDM to centralize data from across the company by allowing for a single source of truth of customer and product information, and upgrade PAID from manual spreadsheets to a fully operational database system with an increased processing speed of data ETL and decreased calculation time.• Used Python with PySpark libraries to import source files (.csv, .txt) into data frames. This allows data validation, updates, or manipulation to be processed in memory. Data frames acted as a buffer or temporary storage to secure data before moving to the next step in the process.• Python allowed the update of cloud data over a secure VPN with SFTP, direct file access, or processing to PostgreSQL database servers as needed, as required by stakeholders and business owners.• Python was used to open VPN tunnels, connect using SFTP protocols, start or stop AWS cloud services, including EC2, RDS, and S3 servers, and processes created for AWS Glue.• Designed relational and dimensional data models for PAID. Created ETL’s to load data from outside applications and manually created CSV files through Python or AWS Glue. • Created SQL stored processes from VBA routines to properly assign data values across multiple datasets. Used dimensional datasets to create variable-driven reports for the executive leadership team.• Use Semarchy xDM to help with Master Data Management initiative by using AWS Glue to bring data from multiple sources and xDM matching processes to create domain and golden records.• Created data diagrams, entities, validators, enrichers, matchers, collections, forms, steppers, and survivorship rules for data brought into the system. Gather data from across the district’s multiple applications into one central repository.
