I am excited to announce that I am transitioning to Vice President of Resource Planning & Acquisitions at PacifiCorp!

In this role, I spearhead and guide a team of 35 staff members to accomplish a shared vision. My duties comprise of directing technical design and implementation of the Western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) providing customer savings of more than $1 billion since 2015.Below is the list of some of key accomplishments in this role,• Strategized and executed a Business Continuity Plan for smooth remote operations.• Steered effort to integrate into the resource plan an additional 1,100 MW's of wind resources in 2020.• Keynote speaker at the Berkshire Hathaway Leadership Conference for Collaboration, Change, and Implementation.• Contributed to saving $25M+ annually for Net Power Costs by devising and implementing Demand Response programs.• Won the 2019 Peak Load Management Association Award for Innovation.• Recognized operational inefficiencies, created and implemented a strategy of operational reforms for traditionally baseload thermal resources which resulted in saving more than $15M annually for Net Power Costs.• Directed the formation and Implementation of the Western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM), continue to monitor and influence EIM market policy, and PacifiCorp's lead for Southwest Power Pool's Markets+ initiative.
