For more than 12 years I have worked in ITPM project management, including over 10 years as an Agile Scrum Master and Agile coach; I have done so within diverse industry domains [e.g., healthcare, biotechnology, utilities, consumer software, publishing, Cloud (IaaS, SaaS), Cloud vendor big data integrations (e.g., Snowflake, Informatica), defense (DoD), data analytics and big data]. This has provided me with a considerable depth and breadth of technical and organizational leadership and team development expertise, frequently with culturally diverse organizations and both domestically and internationally dispersed teams. In addition, this particular project-development landscape has afforded me the opportunity to grow my communication, listening, collaboration, strong coaching/mentoring, conflict management’ negotiation and consensus-building skills in the conduct of working with and/or presenting to team members, customers, business senior leadership and vendors. My 10 years' experience as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM-Scrum Alliance; ID no.: 499823) has culminated into effective Agile Scrum teaching, coaching and mentoring of technical teams and enterprise leadership in the substantive aspects of Agile values and principles, the Scrum framework values, Lean, Kanban and Value Stream mapping. This includes other Agile practices such as: Lean, XP, TDD, refactoring, automation, continuous integration, BDD, FDD, expertise in the writing of user stories using various formats, standing up of a CI/CD deployment pipeline, DevOps facilitation and coordination at the department and enterprise levels, and scaling techniques: LeSS, LeSS Huge, Scrum of Scrums, SAFe. My combined experience in both project management-(12 yrs.) and Agile Scrum, Lean development (10 yrs,) as a CSM, has further refined my abilities to manage multiple time- sensitive complex projects based on data-driven performance and cost metrics, appropriate for both Agile-Scrum and Waterfall methodologies. Furthermore, this varied experience has emphasized for me the importance of focused and deliberate stakeholder and vendor management.
