- Execute research projects on pancreatic, liver and renal cancer. Involves experimental techniques such as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, Q-PCR, ELISA and drug delivery in mice.- Manage the lab’s mouse colony including setting up breedings, weaning pups, ear tagging, genotyping and maintaining a detailed database.- Perform mouse surgeries and techniques such as drug delivery (IP and oral), subcutaneous cell injections, orthotopic injections, suturing and blood collection.- Manage the day-to-day functioning of the lab including purchasing, stock keeping, equipment maintenance and repair, safety adherence and personnel management. - Write and amend IACUC protocols.
